COVID-19 Updates and Guidelines

COVID-19 Guidelines

At 12:01 am on Friday 29 April 2022, the WA Government removed a number of COVID restrictions across the state.

Please be advised that CSBP Fertilisers continues to require both mask-wearing and proof of vaccination for entry to our sites and offices. You can view details of our accepted forms of proof of vaccination and medical exemptions below.

Our decision to retain these risk controls is based on factors including:

  • the current timing. We are currently in the middle of both our peak fertiliser despatch period and the seeding period in WA. We have an obligation to take all the steps we can to protect our team and business continuity through this period, and to ensure we continue to provide the best possible reliability and experience for our carriers and customers.
  • our business’ position as ‘critical infrastructure’, supplying essential goods and services. Our CSBP Kwinana site is classified as a Critical Infrastructure Site under the Public Health Act. As such it is a Government requirement that proof of vaccination (including proof of a booster vaccination) must be shown by all visitors to this site.

We are closely monitoring what's happening in the community whilst planning for the removal of some of our control measures in a safe and orderly fashion. We will provide an update on any changes as soon as they occur.

When visiting our sites and offices please:

  • wear a mask (P2 or surgical mask preferred)
  • show proof of your COVID-19 vaccinations
  • practice physical distancing
  • wash or sanitise your hands
  • treat our team with respect

Thank you for your co-operation and contribution to keeping our team, customers, and communities safe.

CSBP Kwinana

Our Kwinana site has been classified as a critical infrastructure site under the WA Government's Public Health Act.

This Government mandate means that all employees, visitors, and contractors attending our Kwinana site must have received their third COVID-19 vaccination (if eligible) to be granted entry.

We recommend visitors download or print their digital certificate from MyGov/Medicare before visiting our Kwinana site, as this certificate shows evidence of all three vaccinations. The ServiceWA app does not clearly show your proof of your third dose.

The mandate excludes contractors who make a one-off visit on a single day. Contractors are required to carry proof of vaccination at all times and present this if asked.

Proof of vaccination

We are required to check the COVID-19 vaccination status of all visitors and contractors on their arrival at our sites and offices.

We recommend visitors download or print their digital certificate from MyGov/ Medicare before visiting our Kwinana site, as this certificate shows evidence of all three vaccinations. The ServiceWA app does not currently clearly show proof of the third vaccination.

Acceptable forms of proof include:

  • The ServiceWA app (see text above - proof of three vaccinations must be shown at Kwinana)
  • your COVID-19 digital certificate from myGov or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app
  • your COVID-19 certificate stored in a smartphone wallet, along with an acceptable form of identification
  • a hardcopy of your certificate, along with an acceptable form of identification
  • a digital or hard copy of your immunisation history statement, along with an acceptable form of identification.

Vaccination certificates that are accepted by the Australian Government for travel into Australia will also be accepted at businesses and venues in WA.

Proof of a medical exemption

If you are unable to receive a COVID-19 vaccine for a medical reason, your doctor is required to update your record on the Australian Immunisation Register to show you have a medical exemption.

In accordance with West Australian Government guidelines, you must be able to present one of the following Australian Government forms of proof of your medical exemption when visiting any of our sites or offices:

  • The ServiceWA app
  • COVID-19 digital certificate (that shows the medical exemption) through myGov or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app
  • A certificate stored in a smartphone’s wallet, along with an acceptable form of identification
  • A hard copy of your COVID-19 certificate, along with an acceptable form of identification
  • A digital or hard copy of an immunisation history statement, along with an acceptable form of identification.
  • If you are unable to provide proof of your medical exemption in one of these formats you will be denied entry to our sites and offices.
