Preparations are almost complete for the 2019 CSBP Field Research Trial Program to start. Our brand new trials seeder will be used for the first time this season and we hope to utilise its many features to push the boundaries of fertiliser nutrition in WA.

We are trialling new fertiliser rates and timings that are not normally practiced however may challenge our way of thinking. We are revisiting new application techniques such as Mid Row Banding with the aim of increasing NUE and deep banding K.

We have a total of 42 trials this season looking at a wide range of topics ranging from nutrition research including optimal rates and timings, product development and innovation, application technologies and collaboration projects.

We will be trialling new Agtech products throughout the season aimed to enhance the customer experience when following our trials such  as weather stations at each trial, use of yield prediction tools and moisture sensors.

Clear, simple, packaged trial information will provide growers with a more transparent picture of our trials throughout the season. Video blogs, podcasts and other extension techniques will be introduced in 2019 to improve our customer experience.

Very soon we hope to have our new CSBP Field Research Trials Website up and running which allow growers to access all of our Field Research information in one place.
